I don’t give to or promote online fundraisers for individuals unless I know the recipient personally. Please don’t ask me to. I prefer to give money to charitable organizations. It’s not because I don’t trust individuals to use the money wisely or think them unworthy, it’s because scams are rampant.
Just chucking them into the crowd. Imagine going to a protest empty handed and leaving with a free dildo. What a time to be alive.

Crush them without mercy, with the full force of law, policy, and regulation...the existing body of which might not be sufficient for the task.

It might not be the priority for a Dem-majority Congress but Goldwater-level reforms should be on the table, in my opinion
I think about this a lot. How does the military come back from this kind of norm erosion?

Increasingly you see officers empowered to shout partisan screeds from the heart of the digital town square.

Tomorrow always comes, but how do we repair the professional norm and win back trust?

When I was a 2LT, I attended a hail and farewell where my squadron commander, LTC William Clark, called up a a fellow LT and said “I hear that [the lieutenant] voted for Obama. That’s gay”

And one of my greatest regrets is that I didn’t loudly get up and walk out of there.

And we continue the trend of breaking things that take a long time to fix.

Not even two years ago you couldn't get promoted without at least trying to get a graduate degree.

Training doesn't fix culture.
ICE told nurses this Minneapolis man “purposefully ran headfirst into a brick wall.”

What actually happened is that they pulled him from a car, beat him so viciously with a steel baton that he had 8 skull fractures, 5 life-threatening brain hemorrhages, and couldn’t remember he had a daughter.

Dawg, I went on the local public radio station and called JD Vance a fascist on air.

How does the House Minority Leader have less backbone than lil’ ol’ me?

Oh, so it’s illegal to share a conversation with a friend now? Really? I can’t let my friends know what I’m talking about? It’s illegal to have a group call with my closest friends just because they’re from another country? Are we also going to make it illegal to have a good time with your friends??
This is a blockbuster report. Last spring, the National Security Agency (NSA) detected evidence of an unusual phone call between an individual associated with foreign intelligence and a person close to Donald Trump, according to a whistleblower’s attorney briefed on the existence of the call.

This tow truck driver returns the cars for free as a public service, and he’s been getting death threats.

Which is why must keep helping.

DHS employee asks the husband to follow him through a secure door. When it locks behind him, ICE detains his wife to deport her.
EXCLUSIVE: Terez Metry was 13 when her family fled to Tennessee from Egypt in 2011. Then, they left her behind. She only recently discovered she had an order of removal from 2011. But she was following the legal path to citizenship. On Monday, at a routine DHS meeting, Metry was detained.

To me this just speaks to how unthinking, gullible, impressionable, and naive a giant portion of the American populace is.

These assholes never had a thought in their heads for Canada or Europe until the fucking morons they’ve delegated their thinking to said those places were bad.
And the trend goes both ways, by the way.

The US government is telling Americans to hate Europeans and Canadians. And many have dutifully changed their opinions.
