The saving grace of the shutdown is we're really trimming the fat and selling stuff we don't need. I don't think we'll need real help or anything but it's nice to have less attachment to objects just taking up space.

A lot of the associations we have are with a level of comfiness (pizza hut sit down experience, McDonald's play place tube and ball pits, going to Taco Bell for cheap food in the middle of the night and it's this over the top screaming color palette) that no longer exists. Everything is sterile.

It had a dual effect. Because the roofs were associated with Pizza Hut, when they were repurposed, people noticed the failure and started associating it with the brand.

I agree with you tho, I hate the soulless architecture we have now.

It was pretty seamless for me on both my machines. Couple of settings to tweak and the taskbar is back to normal.
