I got to see the original version of this painting of Saint Sebastian this weekend and I was so inspired by it. Sebastian was an early Christian martyr and survived his (first) execution by several arrows. He’s a symbol of perseverance, courage and strength. Feels very fitting at the moment.

We only put up a small tree this year. It doesn’t feel like a year to go all out (to me anyway). The branches aren’t strong on our little 4 footer so it was a perfect opportunity to make these lightweight foil ornaments. It was inexpensive also. The foil was only $10. posting a full vid next week.

Does anyone else feel an intense liminality right now? It can’t be just me…
