I’m curious. Why didn’t people like the limited edition versions of the Star Wars Special Edition?

I managed to find A New Hope and Return of the Jedi Limited Editions for just $4 each, and it comes with the original theatrical versions of these, but I’ve heard that they’re imperfect I think.

And yeah I get it, they want him to sound mature, but now Sonic kinda sounds a tad bit unrecognisable to me, but I’m not talking smack cuz he doesn’t sound like Sonic still. It’s still Sonic, just more unexpectedly adult.

While I don’t see Roger getting any hate nowadays, there are still rare moments when I see some people treat him as the worst one, when I don’t actually see that personally.

Idk, maybe I just still think it’s unfair for VA’s like Roger Craig Smith, who I never even noticed was recast in Colours, which was Roger’s debut as Sonic, who was always disliked all because he wasn’t comfortable for the role yet.

Like I don’t see anyone cherish Pete Capella for being the best Silver VA. Sure he was one of my inspirations for Silver, and I do consider him the best, but I’m not dethroning Quinton Flynn nor Bryce Papenbrook, cuz they still do a solid (heh) great job.

I find it funny that people praise Jason Griffith as like the messiah of Sonic voice actors when he’s actually not the original Sonic VA, especially ever since Sonic Adventure that Ryan Drummond.

Like I get it, he perfected it, but I don’t see anyone like do that for other Sonic character VA’s.

Even if I’m not a Battlefield player (mostly just play the Bad Company games and have played 2142 a few times), I’d really like to play Battlefield 6. I’m not a multiplayer person (i just play with bots), but I’d really like to play the campaign.

It’s honestly why I’ve always been mixed with Capcom keep remaking Resident Evil, cuz some I can agree with to some agree, others feels like it’s cuz it’s the popular one. (*cough* RE4) I don’t hate them, i just feel like they could’ve taken some of that talent and resources for other projects. (6)

So with the new rebrand, Halo Studios really needed a refresh and research before they can make a Halo 7, or else it would be like the 343i era. (5)

And with the latter, for those outside of the Halo community, ever since Halo 4, 343 Industries was never exactly able to capture what made the Bungie games special, which is why the 343i really varied in qualities, both in multiplayer and singleplayer. (4)

Whenever people argue about a game needing or not needing, I’ve always been fine with games like Metal Gear Solid 3 and Halo CE getting a remake, cuz while the former is hands down a fucking masterpiece, due to Kojima being long gone, Konami really needed to research it before a possible MGSVI.
