Ginger snippet Z02-01 Movement. Screaming. The feeling of something solid and strong shoving him into the wall. A cold, sharp sting against his nexk. Big brown eyes. And Steve is frozen. The air crackles in the space between them like the sky before a storm but Steve's not... he's not scared. He breathes and his headache subsides with the scent of moss and wood and the instinct to lean into it is almost enough to override the feeling of what's definitly broken glass at his throat. He knows he can't cave in. That is so not the right move here. So why does the knowledge make him so sad? And why, in his dazed state, does he feel like he's thinking clearly for the first time in a month?

Ginger snippet K04-01 Eddie was proud of this potion in particular since he’d made this one extremely powerful and had spent ages calculating how to make each harmonize to become the ultimate Christmas karma miracle. Even if Steve was some type of karma Houdini, this would nail him straight in the head. There was so much holly and eggnog in this that he wouldn’t be surprised if three ghosts actually rose to haunt Steve from beyond the grave. All Eddie needed now was to add a sprig of mistletoe, and the potion would be complete. Taking a sprig, Eddie threw it into the mixture. Black smoke began to rise from Eddie’s potion, which had never happened before now. He grabbed for the potion, but it was too late as more black smoke began to billow out into the air. His vision blurred while his head spun until he felt himself fall backwards and lose consciousness. The next thing Eddie knew, an alarm clock was going off to his left. It was a shrill cry, urging him to spring from his soft bed.
