ya know i thought that "tf2 but its 2010" mod wouldnt be that good and i was right but not for the reasons i thought
the devs cherry picked weapons and balancing so instead of going for historical accuracy we instead get a werid nonsensical mix of nerfs and buffs

in half life 2 (not the episodes) the claw scanners are just regular city scanners with thier models swapped
this is achieved by checking if the map has d3_c17 in its name, if it does the city scanner uses the claw scanner model
