Yes, but then again the party is undermining basic democratic values, and cynically it can be said the party does not have choice atm but to support democracy. Simple definitions, while useful in many ways, hardly match the messiness (wicked problems) of the real-world

This is why libertarians are so predispose to fascism is because they have this fantasy that only centralize state can oppress, so they end up defending local power brokers, like huge land owners and religious leaders that usually have their private militias and want to preserve local status quo

True. Although I think we still might see that. Especially if (when) more European nations move towards far-right (which is already happening in Finland).

Heritage Foundation has released an absolutely insane policy proposal to label all trans people as domestic terrorists. It uses completely made up instances of terrorism and made up statistics but facts don't matter to them.

They want us all eradicated.
