I'm a cinematic artist, music composer and sound designer. Making animated shorts using Source Filmmaker (Source 2 nowadays) and scoring them since 2012.
Any professional, experienced Unreal Engine audio designers and engineers following me? I'd like to know how expensive native convolution reverb actually is. I did a ton of tests both on regular stereo and true stereo on a single submix, and I see almost no CPU time increase.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that this is the first game in a decade that I'm a part of that actually got properly announced and is in 'full-steam ahead' production.
My favorite indie game dev trope is when a senior of a certain skill starts and leads the project, so even before the game hits its alpha stage it already heavily excels in one area and has either impeccable UI, insane animations, convoluted sound design systems, juicy VFX, or something else.

Not sure about ragebait, but Twitter is still a viable platform for networking and marketing, even without buying premium. Just like with any other platform you'll need to find your niche and people you vibe with, and do this "engagement" thing every social media guru keeps talking about.

Can confirm. In cold October of '22 I was looking for voice actors to network with and John just materialized out of thin air. Well, the first thing that actually appeared was his fine moustache, but I digress. Things weren't the same ever since.
