Since this was shown in the trailer/ad for the artbook it felt safe to share. This was drawn in '24, early dev, the first time it really felt me, Zach, and JBO understood Frankie, Andi, and the show's tone. I still look at this drawing and think, oh yeah. That's #knightsofguinevere.

‎➷ scythe & knight ‎➷
Digital drawing of a reference of two wolves one named scythe & the other knight. Scythe is a new oc of mine that is a counterpart of knight so I wanted them both on the same sheet. They’re quite symbolic of the abuse I went thru as a child but also the mental illness that becomes of that. Scythe is more of the defensive protector filled with emotional rage and will be heard while knight is more so quiet, fawning, emotionally numb, and one that does not fight back. Scythe’s pose is shown with an open mouth snarl and aggressive but dominate posture. His coat colors are on the darker side while knight has a lighter coat. His pelt is a mix of black & dark grey with a burst of dark and light beige. His face markings resemble that of a bearded vulture (one of my favorite birds). The fur is quite spiked and gives off a jagged energy. His iris’s are white with a red sclera & pupil. He has a beauty mark near his nose. There’s a long but thin blast of a scar that goes from below his eye to the end of his neck and another gun shot looking scar on his shoulder. Knight has gotten a little bit of an update (I haven’t made a reference sheet for him since 2014..) he used to be more on the yellow side and now he looks a lot more natural. His coat is very similar to an arctic wolf with the off white pallet but has a dark brown dorsal stripe with an almost rustic orange colors from light to dark as a shoulder blanket marking. His ears are also a that same dark brown but the orange color lines his ears. He has a brown marking his lower chest and his off white cream color is a little darker at his front paws. His tail is still the same ombré of orange going from light to dark with dark brown at the tip. His body is full of mange which is just his stark black skin. He has 4 identical beauty marks at the corner of both eyes and the top of them, 3 scars one going over his left eye and two smaller ones at his nose. His eyes are dull sky blue + yellow & blind in his left eye.
