Either explanation for how KOS became a blade aside, I then wonder if KOS remembers Shion despite how blades are meant to have their memories wiped. Maybe something to do with how she’s partially artificial? Or her intrinsic connection with the Zohar?

And then when the world split apart during the war and Klaus activated the Zohar/Conduit, (as for HOW this event would be able to even happen considering KOS and Shion would exist in this timeline… idk yet) KOS herself ended up being saved from destruction by her core Crystal and became a blade

2: While I know it’s probably not the case, I do find it fun to try and imagine the Blade games as a sort of sequel to Saga. Like, when Shion eventually finds Earth, she finds the broken KOS that fell there and tries to fix her up, turning her into KOS-MOS:Re.

1: Shion built this KOS as her own blade, kinda like how Tora did for Poppi, but she did it like… WAY better. Like, with a REAL core crystal and everything. So while her body is somewhat artificial, she is still a REAL blade that can resonate and can return to her core same as all true blades.

Picked up Xenoblade 2 again and finally decided to do KOS’s quest. It’s funny how the first time I played it, I hadn’t played Xenosaga yet so the whole time I was like “why the hell do u care about this random child so much, KOS???? They’re like… kinda annoying??”
