I have reread the entirety of RoTE more times than I can now count. I read through at least one chunk of it every year, usually more. They are absolutely my comfort novels.

When people warned me about the fatphobia I thought they meant like a few nasty lines here and there. Not the ENTIRE series 💀

Trying to reconcile my feelings towards Robin Hobb after reading Fatphobia: The Trilogy.

People warned me but nothing could have prepared me for THAT. She’s been one of my favourite authors for over half of my adult life and I definitely feel like her other work is very much soured for me now.

Shitty thing is I am also bad at gposing, and housing, and mahjong, and pretty much everything else. I’m okay at fishing I guess because that only requires you to be mentally ill enough to wake up at 4 am for a window, or lock yourself into one zone for 12+ hours.
