Fun fact, i never finished Volgarr the Viking and I'm still pretty satisfied with the purchase.

I could tell so many stories about the dev of that title. This game almost didn't exist at all. :)

It is pretty cool to see ideas pop up now that reaffirmed, at least to me, it was ahead of its time in many ways.

It's also worth noting that two of the employees, Taron Millet and Kristofor Durrschmidt(@volgarr.bsky.social) split from Griptonite games to form Crazy Viking Studios and release one of my favorite hard-as-nails platformers of the 2010's, Volgarr the Viking. With Volgarr 2 recently released in 2024

With the first new Shinobi in more than a decade, I just want to give a special mention to Shinobi on 3DS. A game so severely overlooked that even a good chunk of Shinobi fans ignored it or were unaware it existed for a time. And that is such a shame, because it's one of the best of the series.
