Big congrats to Pia Nalaar for continuing to get tougher in every single appearance. Also, despite costuming changes and four different artists, she's been pretty consistently portrayed.

I’m at the Epilogue of the game and so pumped to be depressed all over again

I'm now good, I'm going to sandwich a really cool mace in between these shitty magic items, but keep posting them if you have any more fun, snake oil salesman level magic items.
vorthosjay.bsky.social
Love these, thank you!
vorthosjay.bsky.social
Oh my god hell yes, that's exactly a Rutstein thing to sell
vorthosjay.bsky.social
Yeah cause he's going to call it [Redacted] or something like that, just like how Man of Tomorrow isn't "Superman 2"

I'm hip to your games, Gunn

Okay, I'm out of time and need some ideas. I have a potential encounter with Honest Rutstein, and I need some shitty items for him to sell with a real one mixed in. I need your help with the bad items.

I need:
What he CLAIMS the item is
What the item really is
Any magical effects that stem from it

It turns out Magic fans did indeed want character work

The party is returning to Thunder Junction for the first time since their first first session a few months ago (only seven sessions ago) and they may find some consequences to their actions from back then, good or bad!

I was originally just going to have it be a brief stop on the way to Tarkir.

I think my favorite thing about writing a D&D Session is when I think of a goal for the session, but then I think of so many fun things to do before hand that it ends up that the original goal is going to be next time.

I need to look up all the IPs Turtles have crossed over with to make a 'Beyond Universes Beyond' Ninja Turtles deck
vorthosjay.bsky.social
Okay, not enough of you seem to know that Turtles Forever is based on the 25th anniversary tv movie of the same name.

The '03 cartoon turtle do a multiverse thing and team up with their '87 cartoon counterparts. And the Mirage comic versions show up too.

I'd need Beast Wars to complete the "Jay's Childhood Toy" trifecta, but close enough!

I know but I like keeping these UB decks mostly together

for MtG - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

One of my childhood crushes <3 getting to paint her for this set was such a gift.
I've been the biggest fan of all the iterations of TMNT since the 90's, so working on this felt amazing!!

Are these Brawl decks? They're 60 cards with 'face' Legends so...

I'm asking for a bunch of 9yo's who will not share a single Commander deck and for whom this would be perfect.

This obviously would have broken things lol, which is why I'm not a game designer.

But seriously, I adore the Arcade Game flavor of this, just wish I wasn't forced to choose Leo.
vorthosjay.bsky.social
As the hype passes, I think my solitary criticism is that I would have given them each "Choose a Background" and had a new, five color background called "Teenager".

I don't love HAVING to pick Leo if I want a Mikey commander.

My mom was a Trekkie and she never bought my a toy so fast as when these came out.

I did break her heart by opening them to play with though (she's of the 'my parents threw everything away' generation, which included her X-Men #1 among other nerdy stuff that'd be worth bank if it hadn't been)
