I posted this list (in 2024) on the other platform. I still think these are valid & reasonable requirements for members of the the HoC & HoL.

Implementation would go some way to restoring voters faith in the motives & competence of our politicians.

Regulator OFWAT says that is OK, govt quiet.

Ofwat says off-shore payments to Yorkshire Water boss do not flout bonus ban
Campaigners have slammed Ofwat after the water regulator found that the undisclosed off-shore payment of £660,000 to Yorkshire Water boss Nicola Shaw did not flout the Government’s bonus ban rule.

Laws are bent for the rich.

Wages taxed at marginal rates of 20% – 45% plus national insurance contributions (NIC).

Capital gains taxed at 18% to 32%, no NIC .

Dividends taxed at 8.75% to 39.35%, no NIC.

All income must be taxed at the same rate.
Nothing will change until the political system is freed from the clutches of corporations and the super-rich
The law is being used to enforce existing power structures for the benefit of the few

Party leaders must unite to defend it.
