The city built their temple on top of an ancient secret: levels upon level of #catacombs, the resting place of their ancestors. It was meant to be in their honour. Their wisdom empowered the oracles.

I entered the antique shop to an awful smell. “Find the source!” My boss said; ran to her car like the #oasis it was.

They had expected it, but the sheer horror of the castle guards froze them in their tracks. The #putrescent stench, rotted skin, empty eye sockets, bloodless lips. Skull cracked to reveal maggoty brain matter inside.

It took short work to put them to rest. It was a mercy.
