Donald Trump isn’t an authoritarian. He’s a mobster or, more accurately, he is emulating the mobsters he interacted with in New York. He is using the power of the federal government to extort, pressure and coerce institutions and individuals to do what he wants. It’s governance by threat.

My guess is that she jumped feet first into the Trump/MAGA swamp thinking it was her springboard to greater things, and it wasn't. So now she is going 'normal' to see if that works.
