Hi #kidlitartpostcard! I’m Veronica, sticking my head up every once in a while from coloring GN pages to see what everyone’s up to. I love sci-fi, fantasy and adventure! This is from a comic where 2 cousins find powerful mecha and need to save their city while the local superhero guardian is away.

When I was a Hill staffer in 2009, a Dem trifecta was trying to pass universal healthcare. In response, Senate GOP released a memo detailing all of the tactics they in the minority could use to delay the effort as much as possible. I'm recirculating that 2009 GOP memo here. Teachers and schools need to know that we are not required to give up our kids. We do not have to open our doors to ICE or the police. Morally, obviously, but also legally. We are our students' legal guardians when they are in our care and we should be making the right call for students' safety.
