Good evening! Here's a photo from my trip to Machu Picchu this summer, one of my favorite trips of all time.
I don’t regret leaving X.
In the end, when I walked from my X account, the waves of racists and bots that were always invoking the same phrases and talking points made it clear that the thing was just a hall of mirrors, that it had been crudely rigged for political fraud. Never thought Musk would admit it all in a self-own.

Spot on, except I’d replace “pieces of rustic pottery“ with “unopened LEGO boxes.“
Twitter accounts are based in Russia. BlueSky accounts are based in homes with, frankly, too many books, plants, obsolete cables, and pieces of rustic pottery, that could do with a bit of a tidying up, to be honest.

Ageism is pervasive in media coverage of political figures.

While raising concern about cognition may be reasonable, conflating age with cognitive or other impairments, is not.

This simulation found that if people 50 & older did not use sleep medications, they would fall less frequently, have better cognition, live longer - and have better quality of life.

Sleep is essential to health, but health is no better with most sleep meds.

By avoiding benzos, z-hypnotics, trazodone after age 50, people will live a little longer, have fewer falls, better cognition:

The new $100k visa fee may worsen physician shortages & access to health care in these already disadvantaged areas.
