Two well-known voice clips from Super Mario Sunshine are Mario saying "Aren't I done yet?!" and "There's more?!" in an exasperated way, long presumed unused. However, there is actually a way to hear them in-game, as they have a chance to play when he enters a level at low health.

In Super Mario Galaxy, Rosalina's right eye is normally difficult to see, being covered up by her hair.

Taking the camera close to her face however lets us have a clear view of her right eye.

In Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2, when Mario or Luigi falls into poison, their head submerges while their hand sinks downward.

By adjusting the camera, we can observe that this effect is achieved by shrinking the character's head as they sink into the poison.

In Super Mario Galaxy, entering first person view turns Mario into a semi-transparent state where his eye sockets turn white.

However, in Super Mario 3D All-Stars, Mario's eyes turn bloodshot, and in the Nintendo Switch release, his eyes are missing.
