Bread is a staple for Palestinians & now it is a lifeline for displaced families in Gaza. Family Bakery, a WCK partner in northern Gaza, bakes 100,000+ loaves of bread every day for us to distribute in nearby communities. To date, they have served 4 million+ loaves to families in need. #ChefsForGaza

A drone attack in Odesa on Friday damaged homes & small businesses, leaving families outside through the early morning hours as first responders worked through the aftermath. WCK’s Pasha & our #ChefsForUkraine team were on site quickly to support neighbors affected by the strikes.

Relying on local leaders to reach families, WCK #ChefsForNavajo teams distributed meal kits to community members impacted by delays to SNAP benefits. Thanks to local community members like Ollie and Tonna (slide 1), who speak Navajo, we’ve reached 1000+ people with groceries to cook with.

Um Bassam and her children were displaced from their home in Al-Shuja’iya to the Gaza City neighborhood of Al-Rimal right before winter. The cold, rainy weather made living in a tent more challenging, and her biggest concerns were keeping her children warm and finding them a hot meal. (1/2)
