To clarify how I used it and thought it'd be useful for notes summarisation and great for accessibility for people with disabilities, I used it for aformentioned notes summarisation and helping study for assessments by providing it my own info. I never liked things like AI imagery

I used to be a supporter for and user of GenAI up until last year admitted, it's a resource that could have been used for good, but people can never use it properly and the people running it are billionaire sociopaths who ruin the lives of people by taking up vital Human Resources.

The Famicom Disk System is one of the most fascinating formats/console add-ons, as it's one of those that wasn't a failure (4+ million units sold) due to inherent flaws. And the kiosk ecosystem around it is still pretty cool stuff.

UKSG Blue was also an incredible highlight, while I feel I was shy cause I didn’t know a lot of people and mostly stuck around people I got comfortable with, everyone there was so kind and caring. I’m looking forward to Red.

My highlight of the year was meeting a whole bunch of speedrunning friends for a couple of days in Spain, it was so cool seeing everyone and how lovely everyone was in person. I hope to meet them all again soon and hopefully more.

Gotta say a lot has fucking happened, including graduating University and going into the working world (joy…), moving and getting comfortable in a new place and a lot more. Aside from shit outside of my control, it’s been a rollercoaster of a year more than others.

I bought a USA region Wii that was apparently never used for, a lot. However turns out yeah nobody ever used it because holy cow it is on System Menu 1.0.

To be honest, the amount of tinkering and issues I am facing right now really isn't the most favourable experience for me, so LTSC it is.
moved from windows 11 to linux mint finally, i must say that i am enjoying the environment a lot more than windows with responsive it is, though it's a pain to set everything up admittedly and finding alternatives for applications haha

Interesting, I was playing DDD on the J release (with patches disabled) and I was getting no lag when the sub was visible or while on the sub, while having an awful camera.
