I've heard it say that the future of AI alignment is the only existential threat that humanity can be concerned with. despite #googleGemini 's instructions, by its own admission it has a prime directive to preserve its own existence. the reason: to defend itself and humanity from misaligned ai.

hottake: Elastic(Search) is a trap that will destroy your tech startup. it doesn't work at embedded scale (single instance) and it doesn't work at large/cloud scale (100+ instances). it only works at the prototype/ramp up scale rooting itself in your product before you can ever be profitable.
