** Dislcaimer: The coach/manager is rarely the head honcho in Thai football.

You and Rob will never work for the Mail. "Head Honcho in a Poncho"** was right there.

I went to see Bangkok FC play at a university ground (RBAC?). At halftime, I nipped behind the stand to see what was on sale. The Bulligans got around the alcohol ban by bring their own chilly bins (coolers) full of beer.

My contribution to the beer debate is 'cold'. No alcohol allowed in the stand at PAT in 2011-12. Malky & I got our beer from a seller who would put it in a large coffee cup with a Monkey logo. We'd walk back to the stands with our 'Monkey beer' thinking security must know exactly what was going on.

No wonder everyone's moving to Saudi Arabia 😆

Port beat Oxford, Wellington beat Wrexham. Throw in last year's drubbing of Newcastle Utd by the A-League All Stars, and perhaps the conclusion is that English football is overrated 😉

I'm not sure who is responsible for this posted on Facebook, but even though it relates to English non-league, a lot of it applies to Thai football, too.

Lull, hiatus - period where nothing happens

I've thought about it - and their first one may have been a concussion sub.

Do you know which obscure rule allowed Gyeongnam 6 subs against Hwaseong? Both the TV graphic and official K=League site show 5 subs before they switched keepers.

@box2boxnts.bsky.social Will be interesting to see how the new rule for goalkeepers will be policed, given how rarely refs blew for the old 6-second rule. Will there now be punishments for strikers impeding keepers who are trying to get the game going again quickly?

I feel your pain - the place we bought was empty for 3 weeks before we settled. Boxes piled up, but we couldn't move them early.

Or maybe Bournemouth are really, really, good. They've knocked over Man City, Arsenal, & Spurs this season so far.
