Local patch walk with @dmesg.bsky.social spotted quite a few 'galls' on the back of oak tree leaves that belong to the Cherry Gall Wasp, few #butterflies around mainly Speckled Wood and Red Admiral

Few hours spent at West Williamston with @dmesg.bsky.social I only spotted one Brown Hairstreak, did however find an egg on a blackthorn, other highlights couple of Clouded Yellow and Painted Lady.

Completed a second #BigButterflyCount today in my #wildlifegarden 3 Gatekeeper, 1 Small Tortoiseshell, 1 Meadow Brown, 1 Small White, 1 Large White. Numbers of #butterflies are definitely an improvement on last year.
