Yeah, offering to help someone find a church is part of the expected “welcome to town!” speech here. Sometimes it’s genuine “I will try to hook you up with one in your denomination” and sometimes it’s just collecting people like pokémon at their own church. It’s definitely a culture shock to some!

My parents were okay with it once we were living together but not until then. That seems like a reasonable “are they a true long-term social unit now?” marker, to me.

I admire the FBI agent who declined to perp-walk James Comey. However, I can’t sit by while anyone portrays that as the law enforcement norm before Trump. In fact law enforcement, state and federal, routinely does gratuitous perp walks.

At least one other person, who identified herself on social media as Kat Abughazaleh, a former journalist also running for Congress, landed on the ground during that same protest after she was pushed by a federal law enforcement agent in a camouflage uniform wearing a full face covering, sunglasses and a helmet, video by CNN affiliate WBBM showed.

Day 4: sexy watermelon! I actually kind of like this one as a dress, less so as an object of lust. Too bad it’s probably made with cheap, scratchy fabric.
