Bethany's Tribute Dinner last night put the spotlight on some of the stars that have help create a safe and caring home. Bethany Children's Home, since 1863, has been a haven for those caught in a storm. It was delightful to see familiar faces, meet new folks and share the warm community support.

44 years ago today..MTV officially launched in New York City at just after midnight on August 1, 1981. Initially, it was only available in parts of New Jersey, but it quickly expanded across the US and the world.
