Some Christmas decorations going up in the City of London. Although I think the Royal Exchange looked better with the columns as candy canes last year.

Did you all know that more than half of all households headed by an over sixty five have *at least* two spare bedrooms?
There is just a weird age thing here. More than half of all households headed by an over 65 have *at least* two spare bedrooms by the bedroom standard.

Impressive that the new A303 dualling between Sparkford and Podimore was so intent on bypassing the old roundabout that they’ve ended up with this convoluted route to turn eastbound.

What if there was a consensus on the tax reforms the UK needs?

What if it was backed by policy experts from think tanks across the political spectrum, from the Adam Smith Institute to the Resolution Foundation?

The consensus is real. The question is: will anyone act on it?

Interesting these stories always focuses on the concerns of well off locals not mentioning that Somerset council has had a 25% increase in the use of temporary housing and is due to go £3m over budget due to this. Somerset needs more house and less NIMBYs.

Saw a TfL hire bike docked, but with a D-lock attached to it (but not stopping it moving). Someone has pressed the out of service light already as it looks too awkward to ride.
