The perfect draw for Scotland: start with a calamitous draw with Haiti, follow it up with defeat to Morocco despite Morocco playing the 2nd half with 10-men, then take a battering from Brazil.

From inside the ground last night, that Raya save last night reminded me peak David Seaman - when you'd only know he'd actually saved it when you saw the replay on the Jumbotron. At full speed, it just looked like it hit the bar.

I remember that one - it was horrible as well.
When he was allowed to get away with everything in the first 20 minutes yesterday, everyone knew a bad one was coming. He was out of control.

From memory, you have to go into the ticket bit and download it - it won’t appear automatically once the ticket has been accepted via the TX.

It’s worked for me this season to have 2x on the same device. They show as separate, independent items phone wallet

I'm not sure that losing the banking details of 4 million customers in one of the biggest data-breaches in Corporate history indicates that she was competent to manage the personal details of 65 million people.

That’s Dan Burn out of Newcastle’s game against City.

I was thinking this watching our Palace game the other day. If these are going to be a thing, there needs to be some scrutiny on the technique. Almost all look illegal to me - either feet or often being thrown one-handed

Ridiculous decision. They'll go on about "letter of the law" again but honestly, it's madness to give a penalty for that.
October 25, 2025 at 8:36 PM
Obviously hilarious but come on...that's just not a penalty.
October 25, 2025 at 8:29 PM
In the Spurs game just now, VAR (correctly) stated that a penalty was not to be given because "the contact came after the ball was played". Fair enough....so presumably it should have worked the other way round last night? I'm sure Howard Webb will be able to explain this on his next TV show

Rides a reducer from Paul Ince (self-proclaimed 'Guvnor'), swats away Bryan Robson (one of the toughest and very best), then chips Schmeichel from 30 yards. Yeah he was good.

Blimey. The Alzheimer’s mascot thing is surprisingly moving.
Well done everybody involved.

Agree.

People behaving as if we should be swiping City aside.

There is just no way Pep was losing that game yesterday and it showed in their approach. We dominated and deserved at least a point.

I am in the extremely fortunate position of attending all of our Home games the live experience has never felt more at odds with SkyTV or online one. I'm reading today that we spent 3 minutes celebrating our equaliser - just an outright lie.

I thought Amorin was too conservative there. City were there for the taking.

When a player is sent off, their ban should be served against the same opponent later in the season and into the next. No more advantage being given to whatever no-mark side they happen to be playing next.

What's this? Chelsea were cheating all that time?

One for the teenagers there.
Thanks for the earworm.

Just the 2 assists at the Bernabeau earlier this year.
September 7, 2025 at 8:11 PM
With penalties, I trust the eye test - and in this case, it just doesn’t *look* like a penalty, regardless of contact or whatever.
It’s what makes ones like Joao Pedro’s against us last year so unfuriating.

Imagine the fan meltdown if we'd hung around, not signed a striker until today and watched Eze go to Spurs unchallenged. Merino up front v Leeds and Liverpool....there'd have been pitchforks.
We're winning the League.
September 1, 2025 at 5:43 PM
The game yesterday reminded me of ours v City a couple of years ago when we won 1-0 with a deflected Martinelli strike. Both sides seemed happy with a draw but both games pivoted on a single, rare moment. That’s all.
