A lot of people are posting a really stupid and wrong diagram, so I've taken the liberty of annotating it.

Oh well, back to bone conducting headphones: Shokz OpenRun Pro 2. First cycling trip was already impressive, I could actually listen to podcasts very easily. With my old philips bone conduction headphones that I lost, I had to use earplugs to block traffic and wind noise 😳

The lady that says "Connected" when you put them on had a completely random volume and often way too loud. The right earbud's volume started lowering and I had to use the balance adjustment in the JBL app to fix it. The only positive thing was that at least they stayed in my ears while running.

Often they would stay connected to the phone while in the charging case and not charge. So the next time I put them on, they would either have low battery or be dead. They have capacitive "buttons", meaning they are activated when I put them on. They will also be activated by a stray bead of sweat.
