It's great to see action starting against dangerous pavement parking. Now we need: A clear definition of what "unreasonable obstruction" means; Effective ways to enforce against obstructive and dangerous parking; Enforcement against pavements being broken by heavy vehicles.

Jeremy was a keen cyclist before illness made cycling a two-wheeled bicycle impossible. Through the Wheels4Me scheme, he was able to explore tricycle options & get back to doing what he loves.

This is one of the reasons why we continue to campaign about micromobility: We want people like Zeeshan to have the option to use e-assist cycles, so they can ride freely with their friends and family - just as children in much of Europe already can!

It's always great to read about someone like Zeeshan, who is now cycling for the first time!

But, as the article mentions, a trike is much bigger & heavier than a bike, and requires a lot of strength and stamina to use. You can't keep up with non-disabled people on bikes using an unpowered trike.

All we want for Christmas is for barriers to be removed so that even more people can benefit from cycling!

#InclusiveCycling #AccessibleCycling #ActiveTravel
We should all be able to travel confidently and easily. In 2023, we asked disabled people to rate their experience of different types of transport. How do their scores compare with yours? Let us know what transport you use and how you’d score your journeys.

It was also lovely to meet the Supersmith team and enjoy a ride with them.

Thank you to @hernehillvelodrome.bsky.social for the use of their facilities, and to Shambhu's - Vegan Caterers for their amazing food!

And thank you to everyone who came along and made the event such a success!

We love this time of the year, as it's one of the few occasions when staff, volunteers and trustees all get together at the Christmas Party.

So, last week it was an absolute pleasure to see everyone in-person to celebrate everything we've achieved this year and to let our hair down.

He raised the issue of how 90% of the Disabled people who are diagnosed by NHS as needing a mobility aid, don’t have a mobility aid suitable for a 1km journey*, & how our pavements are often inaccessible to Disabled people as they are blocked by parked cars, overgrown hedges and are too bumpy.

There's no single mobility aid that works for everyone.

That's why we'll keep working to help make a world where all #Disabled people can use their ideal wheels to get around.
