All the peaty foodgroups for a cold, rainy Friday - Speyside, Lowlands, Islay and Campbeltown. I'm calling Speyside in the Highlands 😂. I might find a different one and a smoky American Single Malt for dessert if I get through these! #whisky

Rumour has it that they had to release because someone else was trying to release a whisky with the same name! I'm glad it isn't terrible.

I will need a backup of this Ben Nevis, it's really gentle and subtle. The menthol notes on the finish are really prominent tonight. I'm a massive Bruichladdich fan and this one is dark fruit, slightly floral, bakewell tart and icing sugar. #whisky

A couple of left field options this evening. The Deanston's tasting notes on the label are spot on. The Edradour is spicy fruit compote, dark berries and walnuts. #whisky

Friday! Stagg has grown on me now I pick up milk chocolate raisins on the finish. Comparing Oloroso cask Ardnamurchan hand fills courtesy of @distilling-wisdom.com. When his girlfriend leaves Fort William I'm going to have to find my own way of sourcing these 🤣 #whisky #bourbon
