Some really nice drams tonight. This Inchgower is a beauty, just super tropical scented fruit. A bottle of this Indri will be accompanying me home. Beautiful toffee apples. #whisky

One of us is drinking whisky. Laphroaig is a great pairing for seafood I think and they found a Glencairn too!

Enjoying Paul John Nirvana with my lunch. Seems rude not to since this is a Paul John resort 😂. It goes well with coconut based curries. The Bold isn’t my favourite but Brilliance and Nirvana are OK. #whisky

They found me a Talisker 10. Moving on to Laphroaig now and that will be the end of my evening. Considering I’m on Havelock Island in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands I’m impressed by this list! #whisky

Lagavulin 16 is the perfect accompaniment for posh Indian food. Actually it’s pretty much perfect for anything 🤣.

You have to wonder what is left of the spirit character after 4x distillation and being casked at 85%. I'm interested to try it, less so to buy it. #whisky

Emirates pours are fair. Ended up with King Alexander III and Signet. No Glencairn sadly but you do pour your own.

Just had a funny experience. A guy joined a group I'm in & he lives 20 minutes from me. He proudly posted a decent collection & I invited him to meet up for a few drams. He wanted to see what I had before agreeing! That's a 1st! Needless to say I declined 🤣🤣🤣

Realised last night while chatting that I have a few bottles in the queue! My first impression of this Glasgow is lots of bourbon cask notes. @whiskytip.bsky.social & I popped the Springbank late at night so this is my chance to try it again on a fresher palate. I’ll report back later! #whisky

Dram 2: deep smoke, fresh mint, fruity. On the palate it’s thin, lower ABV. I’m going to say Ardbeg because someone has to be wrong and it might as well be me. Score 2 #BlindDrams

Dram 1: Meaty, briny, smoked cheese, lemons. Not iodine or vegetal. No sherry, and not spicy so probably ex-bourbon. 3 from me #BlindDrams
