We've got movement!!!
Though I think more engines and stock are required. But till they arrive I think the ground works for some scenic work is in order.

Had started a livestream to do a recap and continuation of my miniature railway layout build, but a small detail has put a halt to any further progress as it requires some tools which I don't have at hand at that moment.
So I'll be resuming the stream hopefully this weekend so stay tuned.

When you're animating a run cycle and the perfect song comes on your playlist. This video is from a month ago, but I was animating a running sequence when this song came on.

Song BTW is 'Footsteps' from City Hunter.

So what this was supposed to be was a recreation of the rolling panorama backdrop they used in the likes of Thunderbirds (pictured) as well as in the Thomas series for cab shots.
Mine was to be a manual operated one, but it was too flimsy to work right.
Pity there's no plans of how this was made.

Me and Kirsty just finished City Hunter 91.
I can definitely say this tops series 3. So many great episodes and brilliant story plots. Plus there was a moment where we had to pause an episode because we were laughing so hard at something featured in it.
But yeah a great series indeed.

I've mainly worked with e battery electrics, but I think I'm ready now to start working with steam in preparation for a future project I have in the making.

So I've decided to make a decision and see about applying for a driver's course on the steam outline at my miniature railway club. It's been a while in the making but I've enquired about it with one of the club committees and they're going to see about signing me on for one of their corses.

Even the raised tracks have a few special engines out for display runs including miniature versions of Rocket, Lion and a few others. Some fine examples of miniature engineering. ~ Corps.

This weekend we have quite the number of visiting engines to our little railway to Celebrate 200 years of the modern railway. Even though we are a miniature railway, we don't want to miss out in taking part in the celebrations. Special trains will be departing from the station later today. ~ Cars.

I'm so glad I bought one of these as the autumn season draws in. I swear these large house spiders are becoming more crafty with their hiding spots in my house. But thankfully with this, catching them is more easier and steadies my arachnophobia which can be quite tense when confronted with them.
