Finished The Abandons last night. Lena Heady (Cercei Lannister) as a powerful female protagonist, the "hero," playing opposite Gillian Anderson, as the "villain."
I just turned it on because I'm a Gillian Anderson fan. She has serious, stage quality acting chops. But Lena Heady was also astounding.
