WHO has renewed its commitment to a leprosy-free world ahead of #WorldLeprosyDay!

WHO has supplied Multi-Drug Therapy (MDT) to countries free of cost since 1995 through a partnership with Novartis. The latest extension makes a provision for continued MDT and single dose treatments after exposure.

Most people recover from fever & other #flu symptoms within a week w/out needing medical attention. However, the flu can cause severe illness or death, especially in people at high risk.

If your flu is not getting better, see your health provider as soon as you can.

WHO’s World Health Statistics 2025 report says 1.4B more people now enjoy healthier lives because of reduced tobacco use, cleaner air, and better water and sanitation.

HIV and tuberculosis rates are falling and fewer people need treatment from neglected tropical diseases.
