Originally released in the summer of 2011 was my first field recording release. I used a handheld Tascam DR7 with it's internal mics to create it. All I did was sit it down and either I ran around and grunted out of boredom, or I was good and sat all quiet like a professional right?

"Music From A Kwale Cell Phone" cassette from Pete Larson's Dagoretti label (in the 90s he started the inspirational Bulb label). Field recordings made from a cell phone or cell phones in the Kenyan town of Kwale during the Digo tribe's Sengenya festival. Hypnotic and beautiful. Lowfi digital bliss.
