Okay, lead with that first, and "his" was a simple typo; it is obvious that Mrs. Carole was a woman (She/Her) to everybody who knew her.

BlueSky does not allow changes to already written posts (like Cara), but this post, right now, will put forth to everybody that there was an initial error.

AC 2025’s attendance (if final so far) is set at 18,357 congoers, which puts it away from FWA’s attendance (17,736) by 621 (no connection to e621 [https://en.wikifur.com/wiki/E621]).

That makes Anthrocon the largest worldwide furry con so far until Midwest FurFest comes to bat later on the year.

We lost a member of our staff family today.

Peony was a gifted artist, and a sister to many of us.

Her warmth, laughter, and creativity shaped our con in countless ways.

She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Regarding weapons, I have know users and handlers only in the "extremes" of this issue at conventions:

* Those owners or cosplayers that make sure everything is tight regarding rules and security involving their weapons so they can continue cosplaying >for the fun< of it... (1/2)
