The PERMIT Act will harm water & wildlife 🦦🐊

If the PERMIT Act becomes law, there will be increased pollution in our drinking water, compromises to our health, more communities at risk of floods, & many of the places we swim or fish will be ruined.

Today is the 55th anniversary of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency 🎂🌳
EPA programs keep toxic pollutants out of our air & waters. But these programs and research that safeguard people & #wildlife are on the chopping block.
📲 Speak out: https://ow.ly/iI8u50XAK6o
Don’t Let the Environmental Protection Agency Abandon Manatees
More Florida manatees have already died this year than in either 2024 or 2023 as the species faces growing threats and possible extinction. But the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is axing programs to stop wastewater and agricultural runoff from entering Florida’s waterways and harmful algal outbreaks that kill off the seagrass manatees depend upon for food. Will you urge Congress to intervene and save crucial Environmental Protection Agency programs that protect and save manatees?

Polar bears in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge build dens in the fall so they can give birth there in the winter. But oil and gas development can crush the dens and the bears inside.
