SAFE ACT will permanently ban the slaughter of horses for human consumption and would also prohibit the export of live horses to Mexican and Canadian slaughterhouses to be sold overseas. In the House the bill is now referenced as H.R. 1661 and in the Senate as S. 775. Call your Senators. Vote Yes.

I live in a little Gulf Coast town in Florida. I took a ride to the local beach to see the progress of the rebuilding from the last hurricane that hit our town. There is now a huge sign in the gateway to the community that reads.
