Solved the murder in the Good Ship Murder Christmas special before it had even happened.

It’s amazing anyone on The Good Ship Murder is still prepared to work on the Boat of Death.

Of course I am watching the Nordic railway on Channel 4 but also shouting at the narration for calling it “The Bergensbanen”

Another five grand since Rhodri went to bed. Keep it going. It really is one of the greatest social media charity things ever conceived.
You spectacularly generous people have raised £13k so far. We have a beyond-excited three year old likely to wake us at 5am, so it’s an early night here. I’ll have to catch up with the pix in the morning ♥️ #DuvetKnowItsChristmas

Is it weird to be…not festive?

I’m not Scroogy, anti-Christmas, anything like that. I don’t have negative associations. It’s not being down or depressed - it’s every year. I’m just totally neutral. Christmas does nothing for me.

And I am fine with it, but I feel like society doesn’t allow that.

Th pub window having “BRAINS” on it makes me think they might actually be in Wales #TheWarBetween

The most 1980s thing in the world may be Lil’s awful kitsch nightclub in series 4 of Bergerac.

Shirley needs to stop saying Kircaldy like it’s “Kircaldy” #TheWarBetween

Incredible that people are arguing over whether face masks should be described as “considered” or a “must” if you’re commuting to work with flu symptoms. If you have flu symptoms, don’t take them into work!

Got on a train that terminates at Tunbridge Wells.

Driver: “If you see anything untoward, like unattended luggage or the CEO of South East Water…”

What if the Spotify Wrapped age was just a nonsense made up to prompt sharing and discussion

It’s finally happened. I went into a record shop, browsed through the discs, and came out with a Bix Beiderbecke LP. Which is now on my Sunday night turntable.

The Bergerac I’m watching is a bit far-fetched. We’re supposed to believe a fashion designer has come to Jersey with HIS WIFE

Ah when it’s an absolute bop and I have to listen to the whole clip even though I got it in 1

I see the OBR are getting a cybersecurity expert to investigate a leak that was almost certainly someone hitting publish on a document slightly early. Definitely worth the time and money.

Completely misjudged the timing of my run (and my ability to run) today so managed 2.5km instead of 9.5km. Probably better than nothing but

I asked ChatGPT to set me a quiz. It was 85% fine to good but there were also clues that were untrue and some flat out incorrect “facts”. Which, in the true spirit of the curate’s egg, makes it useless because you can only trust what you already know.

Ah, the blue passport Brexit benefits. Today‘s is a customs queue in Amsterdam that is longer than the duration of the flight to get here.

“Is it to early for…”

Christmas: if you have to ask, yes.

Wine: no.

The pop music trend I would end is artists unnecessarily capitalising their mononyms. Oh wow yeah caps, you’re so cool, no one else has done that.
