🚀 Building software that solves problems with nocode (@Bubble + @Replit + @Lovable) and AI (@ClaudeCode, @OpenAI, @Gemini)

I’m a non-technical, solo, bootstrapped founder.

Which means nothing about building Bootstrapped has been easy.

Building solo is hard.
Building a marketplace is harder (I don't recommend it).
The best wireframing tool isn't Figma or Miro or Balsamiq. It's an ASCII diagram in Anthropic's ClaudeCode. It's like drawing on the back of a napkin in sharpie, but with the command line.

If you could only keep two subscriptions in 2026, what would they be? I’ll start . . .

1 - @anthropicai.bsky.social's Claude Max — for Claude Code
2 - Replit's Core plan — for its full stack dev environment

That’s an "I can build almost anything” stack.

Insane leverage. Unbelieveable price.

Overbuilding kills startups. New founders fall into it fast. Here are 6 red-flag thoughts that prove you’re building too much, too soon:

🚩 "I just need to add" → No you don't. Vegetables before dessert.
🚩 "But competitors have" → Who cares. You're distracted. Regain focus.

Tools like Replit + Bubble + Lovable help you ship something people will pay for. The real feature is revenue, not the perfect stack.

If you’re still running operations for your small business in Microsoft Excel, I’ve got news for you:

You don’t have “workflows.”
You have a dangerous mess that is ready to break the minute you mistype a comma in your triple-nested “IF” statement.

Old piece of wisdom: the perfect is the enemy of the good.

The trouble is, you’ve got to be a perfectionist for a while (and fail at it) to really understand why.
November 20, 2025 at 7:25 PM
You only get good at what you turn into a daily habit. A 1% improvement every day outperforms every other strategy. Period.

Founders, you need to stop dreaming about $100,000. You need to start planning for $100 instead. Let me explain . . .

Start with the basic math of a subscription service:
100 users @ $100/mo. = $10,000 MRR
200 @ $50 = $10,000
400 @ $25 = $10,000

Founders often think that building software is hard. Or expensive. Or both.

But building software is the easy part.
Tools like Replit, Bubble, and Lovable make it stupid simple.

Getting customers is the hard part.
So that’s the part most founders dodge.

Most founders waste days wiring up the same boilerplate every time they start a new app in @Replit. New project. Same stack. Same slog to craft UX/UI that still looks AI generated (Sorry @Claude, I love you, but it's not a compliment).

This template ends all that.

Ship It Ugly.

Most founders waste months polishing turds no one uses. They rehearse launch plans, tweak colors, and rewrite website copy while convincing themselves it’s just “not ready yet.” The truth is simple: the longer you hide from customers, the longer you delay learning things that matter.

Tools like #Bubble #Replit and #Lovable have blown up the old startup playbook.

Winning founders now don't spend months planning. They ship rough builds, iterate in public, and move FAST.

I’ve built many apps with these tools. So I know that when speed becomes the default, success follows.

Most startup advice assumes you have funding, cofounders, and an engineering team.

But you don’t. You have time, focus, and skin in the game.

7 Reasons Solo Founders Shouldn’t Build Marketplaces
Marketplaces sound so exciting, right? You imagine being the next Airbnb, Uber, or Etsy. But if you’re a solo founder, a marketplace is one of the hardest businesses to pull off.

AI coding agents like @lovable @bolt.new need to adapt as projects scale. Right now, they over-engineer everything—too much creativity, not enough execution. The build:debug ratio is ~1:4; to compete with @bubble & @weweb.bsky.social , it needs to be 10:1 or better.
