A quick reminder of what to expect on our weekly Guided Rides. The first Saturday of the month is our easy Level 1 ride, suitable for families (please see age limits & note on adults). Our rides increase in distance, pace & hilliness as the month progresses. Click for more info: bit.ly/3uNqDAI
Our volunteers are at @theswanclewer.bsky.social every Saturday from 11am, come rain or shine, to help you with your bike/cycling queries. Today, we spent a lot of time inside drinking mulled cider (yum) as only a couple of you came in for repairs. Please visit next week for our easy Level 1 ride.

Despite the weather, we did have a Level 4 ride today - albeit a small one. The hardy riders were layered up & fuelled by our favourite #Tunnocks* Caramel wafers. The eagle eyed will spot that these are the extra special dark chocolate/blue ones.
*As a charity we’re always looking for sponsorship!

We open in an hour for today’s session at The Swan. As the weather’s iffy it will be a good day to get your bike checked by Bike Kitchen (fewer people come in when it’s wet). We’ll put on a small ride if anyone wants to go out, DM to let us know if you’re coming.

Vive Le Tour! is a 1962 short film about the Tour de France, directed by Louis Malle. At 4:54 you can see the famous scene in which Tour riders burst into restaurants and pillage all they can get their hands on.

Here's the film in its entirety.
