I woke up at 2 this morning to put a capon in the oven. We’re having lunch at my mother-in-law’s house and I’m in charge of the bird and stuffing. Happy New Year to all my fellow left wing scum, I have a feeling 2026 is the year the tide turns. About fcking time!! 🥂🎆

It’s kind of fun watching people realize that Brigitte Bardot was a homophobic racist who openly supported the far right. I applaud her animal rights activism but apart from that she was a truly shitty person in my opinion.

I left all my delicious homemade cookies with my in-laws and I bitterly regret it right now. Good for calorie control, bad for morale…☹️

Anyone else feeling bad about the calories consumed yesterday? I am plus I’m on track to overeat today too. That said, I read an interesting thing: it’s not about what you eat between Xmas and New Year’s Day but it’s what you eat between New Year’s Day and Xmas that counts. Food for thought…😉

The only positive thing I can think of in these dark times is that people will now be more careful about who they vote for. Elections have consequences and the desire of some to own the libs may be the reason they lose their healthcare. Was it really worth dying for?
