The only Farsi/Persian I know I learned from a comic ~15 years ago, and it's the profanity "Kiram tu damaghet" ("My cock in your nose"). It's one of my favorite expressions but I never get a chance to use it :(

Title: "White Coal", a poem by Sean Eaton In my youth, I used to sing as I walked in public, hoping a man would hear me and fall in love with my weakness. None did. Now I am white coal, flowing, renewable. Which is not to say I’m experienced in earthly matters; I am only charwood. In this charred land no law forbids music, but men do not believe in beauty; they, businesslike, treat weakness with contempt. But, just once, as I sang “The Age of Not Believing” on the waterfront, a woman, with her grandson, passed me by and smiled. Title: "Pentimento (1)", a poem by Sean Eaton Excerpts from poem: What can be stated: I vividly recall the first time I flew. The plane tipped up backward, and my chair wanted to break free from its boltings and fall into the tail. I thought I wouldn’t survive until we leveled out. I was six; they gave me a plastic pilot’s badge with an adhesive back to stick on my chest. I loved it, still have it. This is all true except for the last part; I lost it soon afterward. Now let’s say the Scheißhund we adopted didn’t bite me five times in the two years we teens had him before we got rid of the terrier. Let’s say I was notified of the pending adoption, or even consulted in choosing our pet. Or maybe we gave him up the first time he bit me. Let’s lie, and say I wasn’t the runt of my own litter. After the accident I wore a cherry-red arm-cast for three months. It stunk to high heaven. Everyone signed it. This isn’t real, but anything can happen when you fictionalize your narrative. The scar on my arm now has a romantic excuse. I no longer spent months in a children’s halfway house. Grape cough syrup’s a favorite. What’s left unsaid: All of my prized possessions from childhood are now gone. What is also true: My younger sisters were reckoned more trust- worthy than I was. My first word was ‘No’. It’s only my truth against theirs. Let’s lie, and say I’ve forgotten the sins etched in my back. Let’s lie: After the plane crashed I went into foster care, bouncing from home to ramshackle home. I had no name, was a face on the news. No relatives wanted to take me in. It isn’t true, but I’m weaving a parable. A star fell to Earth and granted me oblivion. The knife split my skin the night of my Attempt. A butterfly once landed on the scab of my knuckle. My siblings and I have Irish names for this reason. 4. It is bright out. 5. Shelter dogs make good pets. 6. Airplanes are statistically the safest way to travel. 7. The knife drew blood. 8. I grew up with a tree house. 9. I was praised for my singing voice. 10. The knife meant no harm. 11. All stars are dead light. 12. My mother was gentle. 13. Whoever prays loudest will reach the Lord first. 14. Birds kiss my fingers. 15. At home, I am welcomed. 16. My work-hours are long. 17. God kisses my knuckles. 18. Life does get better. 19. You will find friends. 20. Behave yourself, and conditions will improve for your people. 21. Behave yourself, such violence is never the answer. 22. Mass media can be trusted. 23. You are in good health, so eat what you like and sing joyful songs. Tails (truths): 1. It is always witching-hour. 2. French and Italian. 3. Our parents just liked the sound of them. 4. My family would silence me. 10. I wanted to die. 11. We’ve no way of knowing. 12. When I had cramps. 13. My mumblings are as worthy to be heard as your shouting. 14. The winged are skittish things. 15. I am still fleeing. 16. Unemployment has benefits. 17. A song for a pfennig, Sir? 18. Not if you’re Autistic. 19. I have lost friends. 20. You will grow accustomed to undrinkable water. 21. The Sandinistas were right, and so are the Houthis. 22. The billionaires are behind the curtain. 23. I am ailing; come, see the wine spilling from my side, and drink of it.

a bodybuilder trains too hard for years and ends up dying/nearly dying of vascular disease, but a wizard saves his life by turning him into a livingsuit. Wizard says he'll get a second chance at life if someone chooses to wear him, which sucks but is better than no life at all, so the bodybuilder agrees, and is put up in a living costume shop. A shy nerdy guy chooses the bodybuilder costume looking for a physical upgrade, and only learns once putting it on that it's got a whole personality that comes with it. The bodybuilder finds he can control the nerd's body when he's wearing him, but the nerd still controls when he puts on and takes off the costume, so they're always arguing over who gets to be in charge when they're together. Drawing on the nerd's youth and good health, the bodybuilder finds he can train his body as much as he wants when he's being worn, always getting bigger with no end in sight, but the nerd always wants to do anything other than lift weights, so the bodybuilder tries finding ways to hypnotize the nerd to let him be in control for longer and longer periods of time. Eventually the bodybuilder wins control over the nerd permanently, and goes on to reprise his bodybuilding career that was cut short by his first death, winning championship after championship.

idea where a certain college has become internet-famous because its fraternity houses and sports teams all dress as Spartan soldiers and flood the campus and surrounding town every Halloween, an army of handsome, incredibly athletic guys in the best shape they'll ever be wearing incredibly skimpy armor and capes that leave little to the imagination. One recent frat house initiate is uneasy because he's heavyset and has low self-esteem, and he's worried he'll be forced to dress up as a soldier anyway and be mocked for it. But his frat brothers are supportive of him, they chose him because they think he's a rad dude in personality, so when Halloween comes around they give him a skinsuit to wear. He puts it on and it magically transforms him into a jacked, fit version of himself. "See dude, you always had the potential," they tell him, smiling. He's amazed at how he looks, and ends up having a blast storming the town with his fellow frat brothers.

The X-Files episode "Excelsis Dei" was great. The reversal of Scully being the believer and Mulder being the sceptic in the case of the female orderly being assaulted by a phantom force was a subtle and clever commentary on how women's claims of assault are generally disbelieved in society.

idea where a powerful magical spirit in human form (think a jacked model in a suit) becomes a human man's bodyguard to protect him against monsters. He's passionate about his job (and in love with the human) and always tailing him since he's a frequent target, but there's still some close calls where he's barely able to save the man in time, so he's really downtrodden about his job. Then he gets hit by a curse that turns him into physically unstable goo (a symbiote). The bodyguard is achingly empty, but finds that he can absorb the human into his body and form an impenetrable magical barrier around him in the process. Finally, he feels full, and he can always protect him! Finally, they're truly together the way they're always meant to be! The bodyguard is so drunk on the feeling that he starts spending more and more time wrapped around his host, always finding excuses to merge, always finding excuses to keep him inside him for longer and longer. If only there were a way to make the bond permanent, he'd snatch it up instantly. So he starts researching magic to bind them together forever. It's the right thing, after all.
