You bring up a great point too. Jim admits to altering the realities of people. He says “if you know your audience”. He KNOWS how to play the algos to get more eyes on something. He’s a believer, but he’s also a manipulator. A good one at that.

I would believe it was theater if I didn’t live my past life with my father and his friends, hell, even my former friends. They really think this way. It looks and sounds absurd, but it’s their reality. Now is there some media manipulation, sure. Using buzzwords and such works, but it’s real.
