We did have a nice Turkey Day though! Mom put together a relatively slow-stress meal with desserts and we watched our favorite yearly Thanksgiving movie, What’s Cooking. Dad’s here with us in spirit, & we talked to my paternal aunt on the phone a little while she drove back to her home in SoCal. 💖

And because of lack of proper sleep for the last week, I now have a migraine. Very predictable that it was triggered by lack of sleep. Glad I stopped the statin so I can try to catch up on rest. And glad I have my triptan to help with the pounding whole head pain.
Off the statin for one day and I already could sleep so much more. Of course, after having shit to almost no sleep for so long, my head is now pounding. If that isn’t indicative of this being the wrong statin for me, I really don’t know what else could be.

At least I have this little sweetie who understands why people like me identify how we do even though she can’t fully relate because she’s a cat. She loves us because we love her. Hate-filled humans? Take note how animals outdo you in every turn.
