Like yes, I get that my creations aren't godly. However, why does anyone HAVE to be perfect to get engagement?

You all need to start engaging with each other regardless of skill or you will all discourage each other from creating.

This is why I have kept most of my creations to myself. I feel like I'm just screaming into the void. No one really seems to care when I post.

I was so excited that I finished something this month and barely anyone cared.

What's the point of posting when no one shows they at least enjoyed it?

I'll say it again, Art is communication.

"Create for yourself" really means "Create art that communicates who you are." And one sided communication feels terrible. Commenting on peoples art/creations can be scary, I get it. But COMMENT. COMMUNICATE. We want to hear it. I want to hear it.
