I bought an IKEA coat rack long ago to have some extra hanging space (I did have a closet, though.) My mom now has it in her bathroom and hangs her bathrobe and bathing suits on it. 😁
My niece had to have her own apartment in college (and my sister paid the rent) yet I also remember cinder block and plywood furniture and three people living in a one bedroom apt with patio lounge chairs to sit on in the living room.
Mine was decades ago in Mitte. And I didn’t live there very long, so overall it was okay. And I was happy to have some place to stay at all at that point.
I lived somewhere that had a table that folded up against the wall when not in use and folding chairs that hung on the wall. It sounds bad, but was functional and looked really nice.
I had a class that had some slow-moving videos and I did find it easier to watch them at between 1.25 and 1.5 speed. Even if they’re boring, it doesn’t last as long. And some were really just people who spoke painfully slow, so speeding them up was like they were talking at a normal speed.
