4 days ago, the deadline for signing The Compact passed, no takers. We should celebrate the courage of those universities that rejected it outright.

The Indiana govt is unsatisfied with that lack of state control, every new major gets a civics litmus test.

New paper from my lab showing evidence that the retrieval state is engaged following rather than preceding stimulus onset. This suggests that the retrieval state reflects internal attention recruited once an attentional target has been specified.

Our new paper in @natcomms.nature.com introduces improv, a flexible software platform that integrates models with experiments in real-time. Traditional experiments collect all data first, then analyze it later. With improv, models analyze data as it streams in and actively guide what to do next.
