Oddly enough, the first two Star Wars Racer games were not localized into French. But I remember spending so much time playing the first one that I begged Ubisoft to let us translate Racer Revenge (even though only the manual needed to be localized). Exciting to see a new Racer game in the works!

Oddly enough, the first two Star Wars Racer games were not localized into French. But I remember spending so much time playing the first one that I begged Ubisoft to let us translate Racer Revenge (even though only the manual needed to be localized). Exciting to see a new Racer game in the works!
That feeling when you put a lot of care in crafting a beautiful translation, and then the devs decide to use machine translation for content updates. 😥

It seems @tinyroargames.bsky.social have sworn to develop amazing games that I'd love to play. After the great Into The Emberlands and the still in development Lou's Lagoon, their new game seems once again splendid. Great music too in that trailer.

Wild Woods is a cute and challenging game that's perfect for co-op play during the holidays with family and friends. Even though it is still in Early Access, it's extremely robust and fun already.

I had somehow missed the fact that Slender Threads is now available on mobiles (Android and iOS) and on Switch. Great point-n-click game, that manages to be both spooky and hilarious, with a divisive, but very clever ending.

The level of attention to detail that @yachtclubgames.bsky.social put into every aspect of their games (including localization!) is astounding. Mina the Hollower is a much more ambitious game that it may appear at first glance, I hope it'll get the success it deserves.

Everybody should watch this. Not only it is brilliant, but it feels essential. More than ever, video games, especially narrative video games, should not be afraid of tackling serious issues, while retaining everything that makes this media powerful and immersive.
I don't have the strength to watch it, but our (me+ @thepixelhunt.bsky.social )talk at @adventurex.bsky.social titled "The Delicate Art of Making Depressing Game" is already on youtube!
